JAMMU, Feb 1: Bus Stand Police here arrested 10 persons for creating nuisance in public place and also apprehended two more persons under Police Act.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa apprehended ten persons for creating nuisance in public place during the intervening night of January 31 and February 1, 2022.
The apprehended persons are identified as Vishal Mehra, son of Garu Ram of Prem Nagar District Jammu, Rayees Ahmed, son of Abdul Jabbar of Banihal District Ramban, Mohammad Arshad, son of Mohammad Farid of Bye Pass Nagrota District Jammu, Amarpal Singh, son of Bikram Singh of Chassana District Reasi, Inderjeet Singh, son of Jaswant Singh of Chassana District Reasi, Mohammad Ashraf, son of Abdul Qayoom of Pangha Tehsil Kalakote District Rajouri, Falak Sheri, son of Ghulam Mustaffa of Bye Pass Nagrota District Jammu, Mukhtyar Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman of Hinjal Banihal District Ramban, Aman Sharma, son of Ramesh Chander of Siot Khuidheri Sunderbani District Rajouri and Shubham Raina, son of Suresh Raina of Siot Khuidheri Sunderbani District Rajouri.
The arrested persons are booked under Sections 41-2 and 109 CrPC and their istigassa was produced before Executive Magistrate separately.
Meanwhile, the similar team also arrested two more persons namely Rohit Pandita, son of Roop Krishan Pandita of Lane Number 5 Jagti Township Nagrota District Jammu and Akhil Talashi, son of Ashok Kumar Talashi of House Number 124 Lane Number 5 Bohri Talab Tillo District Jammu from BC Road near out gate of Bus Stand and are booked under Section 36 Police Act.
