JAMMU, Jan 25: On the eve of Republic Day, Director General (DG) of Police, Prisons, J&K, V K Singh awarded the Director General’s Prison Medals to 10 officers/officials of the J&K Prisons Department in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The awardees include Mohammad Rafiq, Incharge (I/c) Superintendent, District Jail Rajouri, Madan Lal, I/c Deputy Superintendent, District Jail Jammu, Ram Parshad Sippy, I/c Assistant Superinte-ndent, District Jail Bhaderwah, Ashok Kumar Pandita, Senior Assistant, Prison Directorate, Kavita Mahajan, Pharmacist, District Jail Jammu, Dheeraj, Teacher, District Jail Jammu, Nisar Ahmed, Head Constable, Special Jail Pulwama, Babu Hussain, Sg. Warder, District Jail Kathua, Tanveer Ahmed, Sg. Warder, Central Jail Jammu, Kot Bhalwal and Mohd Ashraf Wani, Warder, Central Jail Srinagar.
While congratulating the awardees, the Director General of Prisons expressed hope that they would continue to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm.
