UDHAMPUR, Dec 3: Police today rescued 10 bovine animals at Roundomail, under the jurisdiction of Udhampur Police Station.
Based on reliable information, Police party of Police Station Udhampur and Police Post Roundomail, led by Sanjeev Chib, SHO PS Udhampur under the supervision of Zahid Saif Wani, Dy SP Hqrs Udhampur, laid a naka at Roundomail Chowk for checking of vehicles.
During naka checking, police intercepted one truck bearing registration number JK02W-2437. Ten bovine animals were found loaded in this vehicle which was on its way from Udhampur to Kashmir without permission. All the bovine animals were rescued and the accused driver namely Lal Hussain son of Mohammad Mussa of Miran Sahib, Jammu along with Mohinder Lal, son of Baldev of R S Pura Jammu, were arrested on the spot. In this connection, a case FIR number 574 /2018 U/S 188 RPC 3PCA Act has been registered at PS Udhampur.
