10 bovines rescued, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Apr 16: Nagrota Police rescued 10 bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh laid a naka under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and intercepted a Kashmir bound truck bearing registration number JK02AE-5952.
During checking, police team rescued 10 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons who were identified as Manawar Ahmed (driver), son of Shabir Ahmed of District Anantnag and Nasar Ahmed, son of Guger Hussain of Purmandal District Samba.
A case FIR Number 138/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
