SRINAGAR, Apr 12: Ten policemen were injured after the vehicle in which they were traveling in met an accident in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district this morning.
A private vehicle on election duty was on its way to Srinagar from Dangiwacha when the driver of the vehicle lost control due to slippery road conditions amid rains and it skidded off the road at Trekpora area of Rafiabad.

Ten cops received serious injuries and were rushed to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment. They have been identified as Constable Bhopal, Constable Ravi Kumar, Constable Anil Kumar, Constable Mohamed Shafi, Constable Vishal Kumar, Constable Asif Yousuf, Constable Syed Tanveer, Constable Mehraj ul Din and Constable Tariq Ahmed.
Among the injured, five of them were later referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
