REASI, Mar 2: Ten days children theatre workshop cum production conducted by the Triple “A” Performing Arts, Reasi, with financial assistance from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, concluded today.
The workshop was conducted at Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi and the concluding function was held at Dramatic Hall of the Shri Vaishno Devi College of Education, Reasi.
As part of the concluding day today, the children and students who attended the regular ten days workshop presented their own three productions namely “Bal Vivah” “Beti Padhao Beti Bachao” and “Vidhawa Punar Vivah” written and prepared by the workshop participants during workshop.
On the occasion Dr V K Sharma, Principal, Shri Vaishno Devi College of Education was the chief guest while Sudershan Singh Rtd. BDO was the guest of honour. Brham Saroop Sharma, president STG presided over the function.
Speaking at the concluding function the chief guest, Dr V K Sharma said that the children and college students showing interest and taking part in such workshop of performing arts is a positive sign of development of art and culture in the State.
The experts of the day were Shadab Khan, Barkha Thakur, Tarsem Kumar, Rajesh Ajnabi, Raja Aamir Khan, Anil Kumar, Akram Khan, Rohit Kumar and Anam Khan.
During the concluding function today, children who attended the workshop were awarded certificates.
The participant artists who acted in different roles included Bharat Kumar, Sahil Kumar, Nazia Choudhary, Darshna Devi, Santosh Kumari, Ashu Sharma, Anu Devi, Akrity Devi, Buhmika Sharma, Nazam Ali, Diksha Kaluria, Maliya Bibi, Shalpa Nag, Pranha Kiran, Arti Devi, Geeta Devi, Kiran, Shabana Akhter, Tanav, Shilpa Devi, Kuldeep, Arun, Jameela Akhter, Leakh Raj, Vishali Devi and Ajay Katoch.
