Anantnag, June 3: A day after militants hurled a grenade inside a Police Chowki at Sheer Bagh in South Kashmir’s district of Anantnag, police today detained 10 persons for questioning.
At least 10 persons, mostly workers including owner of Talak Bakery, Zubair Ahmad Talak, were detained for questioning.
The other people who were detained are Mudasir Mir, Muzaffer Ahmad, Mohammad Abas, Mehraj-u- din, Adil Ahmad, Javaid Ahmad, Tawseef Ahmad, Zahoor Ahmad. However the identity of tenth person could not be ascertained as he was a passer-by.
A civilian, Ajaz Ahmad was injured in the attack. Some vehicles parked inside the Police Chowki were damaged in last night’s attack.
