10 injured in clash at Dhar Darlochan

JAMMU, Dec 14: Ten persons including men and women were injured when two families clashed with each other over some issue at Village Dhar Darlochan in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota.
According to the reports, a scuffle broke out between two families at village Dhar Darlochan over a big heap of sand made by one of them in the centre of the lane of the village. The minor scuffle soon turned into a violent clash and members of both the families attacked each other with ‘lathies’ as well as sharp edged weapons.
In the clash, 10 persons were injured, some of them seriously. The injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while counter FIRs were registered in this connection at Police Station Gharota and further investigation started.
The injured persons were identified Kamlesh (65) wife of Ranjeet Singh and her three sons Balkar Singh (22), Dhrub Singh (25), Sher Singh (25); Ashok Kumar (55), Mohinder Dass (53) and Joginder (48), trio sons of Magar Ram; Preeti Devi (18) daughter of Mohinder Dass, and Sushil (19) and Sahil (24), both sons of Ashok Kumar.
