DODA, Sept 9: Forest Division Bhaderwah dismantled two ‘Kullahs’ (wooden house) and evicted 10 kanals of Forest land in Chiralla Range.
“On September 8, DFO Forest Division Bhaderwah received information regarding scuffle between two groups over grazing on Forest land in Tanta area of Chiralla Range in which a couple of people got head injury,” a spokesman of Forest Department said.
He said the DFO Forest Division Bhaderwah Chander Shekher immediately constituted a team headed by Range Officer Chiralla Shaper Iqbal, Block Officer Jai 1st Ajaj Ahmed field staff of Jai 1st Block Members of FPF Doda who took assistance from Gandoh Police and rush to the spot today.
During the day long wrangle and tussle with encroachers and hectic efforts, the Forest team managed to dismantle two ‘kullahs’ and evict approximately 10 kanals of Forest land of Chiralla Range.
