DODA, Aug 13: Forest Department has retrieved 10 kanals of land in Jitota which falls in Compartment Number 3 B in Bhallesa range in Forest Division Bhaderwah from encroachers.
Bhadarwah Forest Division Range headed by RO Bhallesa Suresh Jamwal retrieved approximately 10 kanals of land from the encroachers.
Range Officer Bhallesa said that the forest land was encroached long ago and encroachers cultivated maize crop on the said land.
The encroachment was removed by the Forest team headed by Range Officer Bhallesa Suresh Jamwal under the supervision of Chander Shekhar Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah and Satpal Pakru Conservator of Forests Chenab Circle.
