SAMBA, Feb 1: Ten shops constructed over 3 kanal encroached temple land were today demolished and another 15 Kanal land retrieved at village Ghagwal during an anti- encroachment drive launched by district administration Samba, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria. The shops were illegally constructed over 3 kanal land of Narsingh Jee Temple. Another 15 Kanal encroached land was also evicted during the drive.
The anti encroachment team was led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma.
Tehsildar, Ghagwal, Raman Chalotra, SHO, Inspector Kuldeep Raj besides revenue officials and J&K police were also part of the team.
