KATHUA, Mar 11: A 10 year old boy was crushed to death at Mangtian village falling under the jurisdiction of Rajbagh Police Station in Kathua district today.
He has been identified as Anshu Sharma, son of Kamal Kishore of Muthi Khurad in Ghagwal tehsil of Samba district. He had gone to Mangtian along with his relatives and while crossing the National Highway in the village he was crushed by a speedy vehicle which fled after the accident.
He was shifted to District Hospital Kathua by police where the doctors declared him as brought dead. His body was handed over to family members for last rites after postmortem at DH Kathua. The Kathua police has registered a case under section 304 IPC and started investigation.
