JAMMU, July 18: Principal Sessions Judge Poonch Ashwani Sharma has awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs one lakh on Padarath Singh, son of Amrik Singh of Amritsar, Punjab under NDPSA case.
As per prosecution story, on 02-04-2018 accused was driving Canter bearing Registration No. HR55R-3756 from Srinagar to Surankote and during the course of checking 82 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered.
