JAMMU, Apr 1: A 10-year-old boy was killed today after hit by a bike in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
“Krishan son of Ramesh, resident of Nagrota, was crossing the road near J&K Bank this morning when a speeding bike bearing registration number JK02AC-2227 hit and seriously injured him,” a police official, said.
He said that the injured child was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was hand over to his legal heirs for last rites, ” he said, adding, a case in this connection was registered at police station Nagrota and investigations started.
