MENDHAR, May 25: Forest, Revenue and Police team in a joint operation today cleared 100 kanals of forest land grabbed by three families in Sagra area of Mankote in district Poonch.
Official sources said that the team led by SDM Mendhar Rahul Yadav and SDPO Riaz Tantray and assisted by Range Officer Azmat Hussain and police force and FPF men organised a massive operation at Sagra village and cleared three structures and forest land in compartment No. 193 of Mendhar Range. The land had been grabbed by Kamal Din, Mohd Rashid and Mohd Arif. The tin sheets of the land grabbers were also seized.
