Over 1000 benefit from medical camps

Srinagar, Mar 1: Army today said over 1000 people benefited from twin medical camps organized by it along with civil administration at Pohru and Watchi villages of South Kashmir.
A defence spokesman said a team of specialists comprising army and civilian doctors provided succour to over 1000 men, women and children bringing smiles to their faces. “Doctors could see a number of women and children patients who otherwise had to either go long distances for their medical checkup.
Apart from distributing free medicines and rendering correct medical advice, the doctors also focused on creating awareness among the people about importance of personal hygiene and community sanitation,” the defence spokesman added.
