JAMMU/SRINAGAR /LEH, Oct 30: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 101 COVID positive cases while the Union Territory of Ladakh registered 11 new positives.
Ninety cases were recorded in Kashmir division and 11 in Jammu.
Among 11 cases in the Jammu region, four were registered in Jammu district, three in Doda, two Udhampur and one each in Poonch and Ramban districts.
Sixteen persons today recovered from the virus leaving behind 103 active positive cases in the Jammu region.
All 11 fresh COVID positive cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
The UT of Ladakh now has 58 active positive cases—54 in Leh and four in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 90 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 42 from Srinagar, 25 from Baramulla, 8 from Budgam, 6 from Kupwara, 1 from Anantnag, 2 from Bandipora and 6 from Ganderbal.
As per officials figures, 75,490 cases including 846 deaths and 74,197 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,603 including 282 deaths and 24,190 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,834 including 23,538 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,508 including 15,309 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,458 including 166 deaths and 14,264 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,601 including 16,376 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,813 cases including 9,693 and 102 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,429 including 10,311 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,488 including 11,365 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,607 including 5,549 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 207,831 including 204,792 recoveries and 2,256 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 886 including 783 from Kashmir division.
With 87 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 326,836, which is 98.40 percent of the total cases.
