JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 102 fresh COVID positive cases while the UT of Ladakh recorded three new positives.
Kashmir registered 81 cases and Jammu 21.
Among 21 cases in Jammu, eight were reported from Reasi district and all of them were travelers who tested positive for the virus on their arrival at Katra Railway Station while six cases were recorded in Jammu district, three in Doda, two Ramban and one each in Poonch and Rajouri districts. Rest of the districts didn’t report any fresh cases.
Forty five persons recovered from the virus leaving 269 active positive cases in the Jammu region.
Out of three cases reported from Ladakh, two were registered in Leh and one in Kargil.
Ladakh now has 64 active positive cases including 59 in Leh district and five in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 81 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Srinagar reported 53 cases, Baramulla 6, Budgam 11, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 2, Bandipora 4 and Ganderbal 3.
Moreover, 195 more patients have recovered including 150 from Kashmir. So far, 324164 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1201 including 932 in Kashmir.
In Jammu and Kashmir out of 329789 positive cases, 1201 are active including 932 in Kashmir Division, 324164 have recovered and 4424 have died including 2250 in Kashmir division.
