JAMMU: A fresh batch of 105 pilgrims today left for the holy Shri Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas and 719 pilgrims left for Shri Buddha Amarnath Cave Shrine in district Poonch from Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar base camp in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A batch comprising 75 males, four females and 26 sadhus left this morning for the Amarnath cave shrine in a convoy of three vehicles,” official spokesperoson here said.
As many as 719 pilgrims comprising 437 males, 253 females and 29 children left for Shri Buddha Amarnath Cave Shrine situated in Poonch district of the state in a convoy of 15 buses and three Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs). (AGENCIES)
