JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Jan 20: No Corona casualties were today reported in Jammu and Kashmir but 109 more persons tested positive for the virus and 113 others recovered.
In Jammu region, 45 persons tested positive for COVID-19, 38 in Jammu district alone. No fresh cases were reported from Kathua, Kishtwar and Ramban while rest of the districts reported one or two cases only.
Fifty six persons recovered from the virus including 34 in Udhampur district, 18 Jammu, three Doda and one in Samba district.
Jammu region now has 51277 COVID cases. Among them, only 385 are active positives as 50176 have recovered from the virus and there have been 716 casualties.
Highest 367 Corona fatalities have been reported in Jammu district followed by 64 Doda, 57 Udhampur, 55 Rajouri, 51 Kathua, 40 Samba, 24 Poonch, 22 Kishtwar, 21 Ramban and 15 in Reasi district.
Meanwhile, 64 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir today. Those who tested positive include 36 Srinagar, three Baramulla, seven Budgam, three Pulwama, three Kupwara, six Anantnag, two Bandipora, three Kulgam and one from Shopian.
As per officials figures, 25,903 positive cases including 453 deaths and 25,197 recoveries are from Srinagar, 8,072 including 173 deaths and 7,843 recoveries are from Baramulla, 7,729 including 7,562 recoveries and 115 deaths are from Budgam, 5,678 including 5,523 recoveries and 88 deaths are from Pulwama, 5,631 including 94 deaths and 5,479 recoveries are from Kupwara, 4,858 including 4,721 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,682 cases including 4,593 and 61 deaths are from Bandipora, 4,578 including 4,459 recoveries and 46 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,685 including 2,593 recoveries and 54 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,554 including 2,479 recoveries and 39 deaths are from Shopian.
The total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 72,370 including 70,449 recoveries and 1,207 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,099 including 714 from Kashmir division.
With 113 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 120,625, which is 97.55 percent of the total cases.
Meanwhile, 6 Corona positive cases were today reported fromLadakh–5 in Leh and one in Kargil.
