KATHUA, May 15: The Nagri Parole Police in Kathua district today rescued 11 bovine animals which were being smuggled from Punjab to Kashmir at a Naka in the area.
Seeing the police the smugglers fled leaving the animals behind. The Nagri Parole Police Post falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua Police Station has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
