11 day Gayatri Virat Yagya concludes

JAMMU, Dec 20: Eleven-day long 108 Kundli Gayatri Virat Yagya concluded at village Pargwal today.
The Maha Yagya, which started on December 10, was organized by people of Pargwal and adjoining villages under the supervision of Suresh Shastri Ji Maharaj.
On the concluding day, a Kalash Yatra was taken out in which a large number of devotees drawn from different parts of region participated, which was led by Suresh Kumar Ji Maharaj and his wife.
Informing about the religious programme, Sant Ji said the Gayatri Virat Yagya has been solemnized through Vedic rituals to feed and please the nature.
He said that the main objective of performing the Yagya was to seek the divine blessings for safety, peace and prosperity of India particularly J&K.
This 108 Kundi Yagya was unique of its kind and daily thousands of people participated in it, he said.
During all 11 days, the Yagya was performed daily followed by Bhajan and Kirtan and Raas Leela. The Yagya concluded today with Puranahuti. The devotees were served with Prashad daily.
Various saints blessed the gathering by religious and spiritual discourses during the Yagya.
