JAMMU, Feb 1: Eleven members from trade and industry fraternity have filed nominations for the elections to the Executive body of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
Election Commissioner nominated for the purpose by the apex body of traders, Annil Suri said that till this evening 11 members have filed their nominations for the posts of president, senior vice president, junior vice president, secretary general, cashier and the secretary.
He said that filing of nominations commenced on January 30 and today was the third day. February 2 is the last date of filing nominations by the candidates till 5 pm. The scrutiny of the papers would take place on February 4, the withdrawal date is February 15 while election will take place on March 5, 2017.
Meanwhile, sources in the JCCI said that Arun Gupta, Manish Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Ashu Gupta, Rahul Gupta and Deepak Aggarwal have filed their nominations to contest elections for different posts.
