SRINAGAR, May 4: Eleven persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
Reports said a car bearing registration number JK05B/1820 collided with another car bearing registration number JK01M/1543 at Hyderpora Byepass near Classic Hospital, resulting in injuries to six passengers. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment and police has registered a case.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05B/7106 skidded off the road near Hail- Kreeri area of Baramulla district. The mishap resulted in injuries to the motorcyclist, Zahoor Ahmad Lone son of Mohammad Abdullah and pillion Wahid Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Gani. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital , Kreeri where from Zahoor was referred to SMHS Srinagar.
A Motorcycle hit Ghulam Nabi aged about 48 years son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Wagil near Wagil Bridge, at Kreeri Baramulla. The mishap resulted in injuries to the motorcyclist Zahoor Ahmad Mir, pillion Sonaullah Shah son of Abdul Rehman Shah resident of Mogam and Ghulam Nabi. The injured were referred to SMHS hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, in continuation to the accident reported on April 28 near Phoenix Paramedical College, Doolipora-Pulwama, one more injured, Irfan Ahmad son of Abdul Hamid Dobi resident of Warsoora succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Srinagar. After completing all legal formalities body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
