RAJOURI, Feb 9: Eleven persons were injured, two of them seriously, when a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down in a gorge near Latti, here today.
The vehicle was coming to Rajouri from Khawas area when it met with the accident. All the injured were evacuated by the locals and shifted to PHC Khawas where two of them were referred to GMC Hospital Rajouri in view of serious injuries to them.
Those referred to GMC Rajouri were identified as Madan Lal (32), son of Lal Mahan of Bhella and Karta Singh (50), son of Naksi of Keri.
Other injured were identified as Surjeet Singh (35) son of Nasib Singh of Bhella, Ramona Begum (50), wife of Anwar Hussain of Keri, Satia Devi (56), wife of Parshotam Lal of Khawas, Balwan Singh (55), son of Munshi Ram of Keri, Rashpal Singh (42), son of Nanak Chand of Bhella, Govind Singh (24), son of Lal Mahan of Khawas, Anchal Singh (32), son of Ragu Nath of Khawas, Om Parkash (50), son of Sant Ram of Bhella.
