POONCH, June 19: Eleven passengers were injured when a passenger bus bearing number JK02 AN7275 on its way from Jammu to Poonch skidded of the road and fell into a deep gorge near Surankote after negotiating another bus coming from opposite direction at a sharp curve.
Soon after the accident SHO Surankote Bashir Ahmed and DySP Javid Ahmed Mir led a police party to the spot and evacuated the injured passengers and shifted them to SDH Surankote for treatment.
Their condition is stated to be out of danger. The Surankote Police has registered a case and recorded the statement of driver.
