JAMMU, Feb 2: Police in this district claimed today that they have seized 11 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
A police spokesperson said that one tractor trolley was seized by PS Arnia, 4 vehicles by PP Sidhra, 2 vehicles by PP Chinnore, one by PP Pounichack, and one by PP Phallain Mandal.
“The matter has also been brought in the notice of District Mineral Officer Jammu,” said the spokesperson.
“The mining was done in violation of HC order,” added the police spokesperson.
