118 Bn CRPF organizes Medical Camp in Gund

SRINAGAR, Oct 7: In a demonstration of commitment to social responsibility and dedication to assisting underprivileged sections of society, the 118 Bn CRPF organized a free medical camp today in the Gohipora Rezin village, located in the Gund block of Ganderbal district.
The organizers stated that the primary objective of the camp was to provide essential healthcare support to the local community in the area.
The camp’s inauguration was conducted by S.S. Yadav, the Commandant of the 118 Bn CRPF, who extended a warm welcome to residents, encouraging them to share their medical concerns for a thorough health check-up and immediate medical assistance.
The Medical Officer of the Unit, in conjunction with medical officers from the Government Hospital Kangan, attended to approximately 300 patients with various ailments, generously providing them with medications at no cost.
Representatives from various segments of society bore witness to this praiseworthy initiative by the CRPF and commended the force’s selfless service to the community.
Furthermore, senior officers from the 118 Bn CRPF were present at the event, showing their support for this noble cause alongside their Commandant.
