JAMMU: At least 12 Amarnath pilgrims were injured when three vehicles collided at Lakhanpur in Kathua district, today.
“A bus from Uttar Pradesh carrying Amarnath pilgrims this morning collided head on with a truck and SUV near Golden Gate at Lakhanpur,” police here said.
They said police rushed to the spot and injured pilgrims were rushed to the District Hospital Kathua.
“Twelve injured passengers were hospitalised while others with minor injuries were discharged after first aid,” police said.
They said that truck driver also sustained injuries in the mishap. (AGENCIES)
