SRINAGAR, Oct 4: Governor N N Vohra has assented 12 Bills, including salaries and allowances of Members of State legislatures.
This information was given by Secretary, Legislative Assembly Mohammad Ramzan today who said that 12 Bills passed by both Houses of Legislature have been assented to by the Governor.
The Bills assented by Governor included Property Tax Board Bill, Land Laws (Amendment) Bill, Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill, Shri Mata Sukhrala Devi Ji Shrine and Shri Mata Bala Sundri Shrine Bill, The Salaries and Allowances of Members of the State Legislature (Amendment), Employees Provident Funds (and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Bill, Civil Services (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Bill, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children), Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment (Amendment), Golf Development and Management Authority Bill and Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Bill.
