UDHAMPUR, Feb 7: Udhampur Police today foiled four separate attempts of bovine smuggling and rescued 12 animals besides arresting four smugglers.
Sharing details, SSP Udhampur, Dr Vinod Kumar said that these bovine animals were being smuggled in vehicles, which were intercepted by Police. These vehicles were seized and four FIRs in connection with the bovine smuggling have been registered in Police Station Udhampur.
Six bovines were recovered from the vehicle bearing registration number JK02CL-7740, while two bovines from each three vehicles, bearing registration number JK14J-3448, JK02CV-1420 and JK02BJ-7340 were recovered.
