12 bovines rescued, 4 arrested

RAMBAN, Sept 15: Police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested four persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka near Shan Palace and intercepted two Tata Mobiles.
During checking, police rescued 12 cattle from the vehicles and arrested four persons.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Din Mohammad of Krimchi Mansar, Malik Khan, son of Jamal Din of Supply More Udhampur, Shabir Ahmed, son of Fared Ahmed of Parnote and Zakir Hussain, son of Mohammad Yousif of Krimchi Mansar.
Cases under FIR Number 140/18 and 141/18 under Sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act have been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation taken up.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal made the arrest under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
