SAMBA, Jan 16: Rajpura police rescued 12 cattle, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Rajpura Police Post headed by SI Karnail Singh under the supervision of Inspector Rajeev Kumar, SHO Police Station Ghagwal and Deepak Digra, DySP Headquarter Samba laid naka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Tapyal and intercepted a truck bearing registration number PB08CH-6243.
During checking, police rescued 12 bovine animals from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 4/19 under section 188 RPC and 2/3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
