12 in fray for Ware House traders election

JAMMU, Mar 26: A total of twelve members are in a fray for the election to the office bearers of the Traders Federation Ware House/Nehru Market (Regd), Jammu, to be held on Sunday (April 4, 2021.
Today was the last day for withdrawal and after this twelve candidates are in a fray for the post of six office bearers of the Federation.
According to Election president, Rajesh Bhagotra, the election will take place immediately after the Annual General Meeting of this body of traders is over. For the post of president, two members, Deepak Gupta and Sunil Gupta are in fray.
For the post of senior vice-president, Dheeraj Mahajan and Munish Mahajan are contesting whereas, for the post of junior vice-president, two candidates Abhimanyu Gupta and Sandeep Gupta are in the fray.
Naresh Gupta and Sham Langer are in a fray for the post of general secretary. For the post of secretary, two candidates facing each other are Rajesh Gupta and Vishal Gupta.
Two members in the fray for the post of treasurer are Amit Gupta and Naman Gupta.
The Election president further said that around 550 members from wholesale Mandi are voters. The polling will start at 10:30 am at Bharat Regency, Greater Kailash, Jammu on Sunday, April 4, 2021 and will continue till 1:00 pm. The counting will start at 2 PM onward and the result will also be declared by evening on the same day.
Four other members of the Election Commission are-  Rajan Gupta, Atul Khanna, CA Krishan P Gupta and Sudesh Gupta.
