SRINAGAR, Sept 3: Twelve persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a motor-cycle JK03C/6943 met with an accident at Hutmullah-Mattan near Mapple restaurant, resulting in injuries to Ubaid Nisar son of Nisar Ahmad Wani and Haziq Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid Wani resident of Sarnal Bala, Anantnag. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A motor-cycle JK01P/7421 hit and injured one Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din son of Abdul Aziz Khuroo resident of Naseembagh, Sopore at Lalad. The motorcyclist identified as Irfan Barkat Dar age son of Shameen Ahmad resident of New Light Colony, Sopore was also injured. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
An accident took place on National Highway at Lethpora between a Maruti Zen JK01D/8445 and Maruti Car JK01N/5458 resulting in injuries to five persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo JK04/716 collided with a Swift Car JK05C/0050 near J&K Bank, Hyder Beigh, Pattan resulting in injuries to the Swift car driver and two other persons boarding in the Swift Car. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
The police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
