12 persons sent to Rajouri Jail

RAJOURI, Oct 25:  Moving ahead in its efforts to ensure peaceful atmosphere in Rajouri district, authorities today took twelve more person into preventive custody for their involvement in unlawful activities, especially drugs peddling and consumption, in rural belts of the district.
On the directions of SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, Thanamandi, Budhal and Kandi Police Stations identified such people who were indulging in unlawful activities in  the respective jurisdictions of these Police Stations after which matter along with adequate proof of their unlawful activities, was put up  before the concerned Executive Magistrate of Police station Thanamandi, Kandi and Budhal who include Tehsildar Thanamandi, Tehsildar  Kotranka and Naib Tehsildar Budhal.
The Executive Magistrates then ordered detention of all these person  U/S 107/151/110 CrPC and on these orders, police have taken all of them into preventive custody and they have been  shifted to District Jail, Rajouri at Dhangri.
Those sent to Jail are-Raj Kumar, son of Tirth Ram from Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri; Sourab Kumar, son of  Manoj Kumar from  Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri;  Sadam Hussain , son of Adalat Khan from Azamatabad Thanamandi;  Zafer iqbal, son of Sabar Hussain from Kote Behrote, Thanamandi; Mohd Qadeer, son of  Abdullah  from Kotranka; Mohd Safeer, son of Mohd Tufail, from  Gurdhan Balla, Rajouri; Amjad Khan, son of  Mohd Shabir from Ujhan Rajouri;  Mohd Akseer, son of  Shamas Din from Samote Budhal; Shabir Ahmed, son of Shakeel Ahmed from  Samote, Budhal;  Mohd Arshad, son of Mohd Rafiq from  Samote Budhal; Mohd Shakeel, son of Abdul  Latief from Draman (Samote) Budhal and Sanjay Singh, son of  Dev Raj from Rajnagar, Budhal.
The above persons were detained and taken into preventive custody by teams of three police stations.  In Thanamandi team headed by SHO Thanamandi,  Karan Chalotra under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi Chowdhary Iftikar whereas, in Kandi and Budhal teams were  headed by SHO Kandi, Arun Kotwal and SHO Budhal Jahangir Ahmed under the supervision of DySP OPs Sukhdev Singh.
