Srinagar, Mar 10: A residential house and 11 other structures were gutted in fire on Sunday evening.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Gani Dragay, Sirigufwara in district Anantnag. The fire also engulfed three adjacent cow sheds.
Four advocate chambers were partially damaged in the fire that broke out in District Court premises in Sher Bagh, Anantnag.
The spokesman said the cause of the fire is believed to be due to electric short circuit.
Three shops were partially gutted when fire broke out due to electric short circuit in the cosmetic shop of Rayees Ahmad Dar at Shah Faisal Market in Sopore in north Kashmir.
