12 students hurt in accident

RAJOURI, May 12: Twelve students were injured when a bus in which they were travelling met with an accident in Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that the bus of TMT School Nowshera met with an accident near Rani Badetar Road, Chingus under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajouri.
The injured students were shifted to nearby local Health Centre for treatment. Later, one student having suffered multiple leg fractures was shifted to SDH Nowshera. SHO Rajouri Inspector Shoket Hussain along with his team also reached the spot and shifted injured students to local Health Centre for treatment. Police has registered a case in this connection.
Among injured two students namely, Mohd Waseem, son of Anwar Hussain and Gurtej Singh, son of Sanjay Kumar were shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment whereas, Mohd Ghulam, son of Anwar Hussain, Susheel Singh, son of Iqbal Singh, Roshi, daughter of Narinder Singh , Ranjeet Singh, Sahil Sharma, Ibrar Ahmed are under treatment in SDH Nowshera. Four students were normal who were discharged after providing first- aid in the hospital.
