JAMMU, Sept 22: Jammu Police has seized 12 vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the district in last 24 hours.
According to a police spokesman, two tractor trolleys without registration number were seized by Police Station Nagrota, one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02CG-4577 by Police Station Miran Sahib and one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02W-1720 was seized by Police Station Akhnoor.
He said one tractor trolley bearing chassis number T052485383HH was seized by Police Station Bishnah, one tipper each bearing registration numbers JK14C-2319 and JK02AV-0966 by Police Post Manwal and Police Post Pallanwala respectively and two tractor trolleys bearing chasis numbers MBNAAALXBKJDO3768 and MBNGAALDBNRBO3337 were seized by Police Post Phallain Mandal.
“One tractor trolley bearing registration number PB07AE-2597 was seized by Police Post Talab Tillo, one tractor trolley without registration number by Police Post Jourian and one tractor trolley bearing chassis number GZCDS843652S3 was seized by BPP Gajansoo,” the spokesman said, adding, the DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
