RAMBAN, Sept 16: Dhamkund police seized 120 litres diesel and arrested a person from Harog area.
As per police sources, acting on specific inputs, police team from Dhamkund police station conducted a raid in Harog area and seized 120 litres of diesel.
Police arrested Rajesh Kumar alias Raju, son of Ramdass of Dalwah Sangaldan, who used to sell the diesel among the drivers of local vehicles on exorbitant rates.
A case under FIR Number 24/15 under Section 3/7 Essential Commodity Act has been registered against the accused at Dhamkund police station and investigation started.
Police team led by ASI Vijay Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
