MENDHAR, Aug 13: Over 1200 ALC/ST/OBC certificates were issued by the incharge Tehsildar, Mendhar Shahzad Khan within just 12 days.
Not only this, Mr Khan holding additional charge of Mendhar tehsil cleared about 200 PRC certificates and recommended for issuance of the same during this period.
When contacted on phone, the Tehsildar said that there were many pending cases and moreover, after he was convinced that cases were genuine and deserved category certificate, he cleared the cases and issued the same. It is said that previously, at an average of just 15-25 cases per day were being cleared for the category certificates.
Shahzad Khan is placed as Tehsildar Mankote and he was holding additional charge of Mendhar Tehsil. New Tehsildar has now been posted in Mendhar.
