Reasi, June 30: With the scaling up of Covid-19 Paanch Divasiya Vaccination ‘Abhiyan-Abhi, Nhi Toh Kbhi Nhi’ vaccination, it reported biggest achievement of 12569 receiving vaccine as part of the drive.
DC Charandeep Singh applauded the commendable momentum on the vaccination front and urges the people of reasi to overcome vaccine hesitancy.
The DC also expressed satisfaction at the rising speed of vaccinations in the last 5 days of this abhiyan and stressed that it is important to carry this momentum forward to achieve target of 100% vaccination.
“The battle we are fighting against corona is continuing, but in this fight, together, we’ve achieved an extraordinary milestone!by vaccinating around 12569 people in just 5 days and will cover the leftouts in next 5 days”,said the DC
As part of Panch divasiya vaccination abhiyan- Abhi nhi Toh Kbhi Nhi around 4285 people in the age group of 45 plus and above got vaccinated today.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh had launched Paanch Divasiya Vaccination Abhiyan-Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi on Saturday 26th June to 30th June to achieve a target of 100 percent vaccination of 45years and above peoples in District Reasi.
Further as part of this around 8274 people in the age group of 18 years to 44 years got vaccinated with first dose.
Similarly around 3397, the prominent citizens in the age group of 45 years and above got vaccinated with first dose including 888 in the said age group got second dose of vaccination.
Covid protocols were strictly adhered to during the entire process; time slots were given to all to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing. Everyone adhered to all the safety measures.
The vaccination drive was successfully conducted with the support of the management and the invincible spirit of all the participants.
