RAJOURI, June 16: The police foiled a smuggling bid of bovine animals and claimed to have seized 13 cattle at a naka in Budhal area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that during noon a Khawas police party during naka at village Keeri found one person namely, Mohd Qayoom, son of Kag Hussain, resident of Gundha village carrying 13 bovine animals without DM’s permission from village Gundha towards Kashmir on foot.
Police rescued the bovine animals and registered a case FIR No 50/2022 U/S 188/IPC, 11PC Act at P/S Budhal against the accused person who was also arrested.
