JAMMU, June 6: Sidhra police rescued 13 bovine animals and arrested a driver.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police Post led by Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq laid a naka intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02CA-8607.
During checking, police team rescued 13 bovine animals from the truck and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Khalil Ahmad, son of Talib Hussain of Chawkwa, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 228/20 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
The whole operation was made under supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Sharma and SP Rural Suram Singh.
