BANDIPORA, Oct 13: Thirteen days educational-cum-motivational tour to Mumbai and Pune, organized by 27 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Counter Insurgency Force (KILO) concluded today, in which 30 students belonging to far flung and remote areas of district participated.
During the 13 days visit the youths visited Gateway of India, Naval Dockyard and Elephanta Caves, Nehru Planetarium, Chhatrapati Shivaji Sangrahalaya, Mumbai Natural History Society, Marine Drive, Juhu Chowpatty in Mumbai. The youths also visited Museum, Calnute Beach, Church and Convent of St Francis of Assisi, Sea Cathedral, in Goa.
This was the first visit of these people out of the boundaries of Bandipora district.
The Commanding Officer welcomed and received the enthusiastic youths. A large number of civil dignitaries and locals were present on the occasion.
