JAMMU, Aug 20: Thirteen dengue cases were reported today from Jammu province, taking the number of cases reported till date in Jammu and Kashmir to 113.
According to the reports, a total of 112 people were tested today for dengue and out of these, 13 turned out to be positive. The positive patients include 12 adults and 1 child. While 12 patients belong to Jammu, one is from Samba district.
Reports further said that 12 dengue cases were reported on August 14, 3 cases on August 15, 6 cases on August 16, 13 on August 17, 10 cases on August 18 and 15 cases on August 19.
In total, 113 dengue cases have been reported this year as on date from the Union Territory. The maximum 83 dengue patients have been reported from Jammu district, followed by 10 from Kathua, 5 from Samba, 4 from Udhampur, 3 from Reasi, 2 from Poonch, 1 from Doda and 1 has been reported from outside the UT.
