RAJOURI, June 5: At least 13 persons were injured when a Tempo Traveler met with an accident in Sunderbani area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that mishap took place near Bagnoti village where a Tempo bearing registration No JK02AH -0554 met with an accident on Rajouri-Jammu highway.
Immediately after the mishap, the locals of the area and police party reached the spot.
BMO Sunderbani, Dr Nissar Hussain said that all the 13 injured persons were shifted to SDH Sunderbani for treatment and from where five were referred to GMC Jammu for special;ised treatment.
The injured were identified as Rajinder Kumar, son of Romesh Chander from Rajouri; Mukhtar Ahmed, son of Nisar Hussain from Rajouri: Ashok Sharma, son of Mani Ram from Rajouri; Janam Bi, wife of Shajan, hailing from Rajouri; Khadam Hussain, son of Badhar Din from Rajouri; Layquit Hussain, son of Mohd Reyaz from Rajouri; Subash Chander, son of Mood Raj from Rajouri; Aruti Sharma, daughter of Subash Chander from Rajouri; Rafiqa Akhter, daughter of Mohd Anwar from Rajouri; Sanjeev Kumar, son of Romesh Chander from Rajouri; Shamim Akhter, wife of Fareed Hussain from Rajouri; Naseem Fareed, daughter of Fareed Hussain from Rajouri and Binia Amin, son of Mohd Shah from Rajouri. The Police has registered a case for investigation.
