13 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: Ten passengers  were injured in a collision of  bus with a truck on the National Highway near Kali Mata Mandir at Jakheni while three more persons sustained injuries in two separate road accidents, here today.
A bus, bearing registration number JK02H-6493, on its way from Chanani to Udhampur,   collided with Truck JK02W- 6827 near Kali Mata Temple, this morning. In the collision, ten passengers sustained injuries, five of them serious. They were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment.
The injured were identified as Jagdesh Kumar (36) son of Chunni Lal of Manta, Vijay Kumar (37) son of Bhagat Ram of Bali, Babli Devi (20), daughter of Chain  Singh of Manta, Rattan Singh (58) son of Thakur Dass of Laddha, Joginder Singh son of Avtar Singh of Talab Tillo Jammu,  Savitri Devi (75) wife of Shok Ram of Bali, Jagdev (45) son of Bali Ram of Laddha, Jivan Kumar (16) son of Krishan Lal of Laddha, Pooja Devi (24) daughter of Pritam Singh of Manta and  Thakru (60) son of Chandu Ram of Laddha.
In another road mishap, two motorcycles and one car collided with each other on the National Highway near Chopra Shop Udhampur. Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. They were identified as Jagdesh Kumar and Ravi Kumar of Barola Udhampur.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was hit by a car near Slathia Chowk. The injured, identified as 24 years old Arush of Udhampur, was admitted in DH Udhampur.
