JAMMU, July 30: Miran Sahib Police today arrested three thieves and recovered 13 stolen two-wheelers on their disclosure.
“Acting on a theft complaint lodged at Police Station Miran Sahib, a case under FIR number 66/22 u/s 380/454 IPC was registered and investigation started and during investigation under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh, the team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq with the help of CCTV footages of the rounded up three suspects identified as Karanjeet Singh alias Jimmy son of Manjeet Singh of Khour Deonian, Sandeep Kumar son of Ashok Kumar alias Pinka of Khour Deonian and Balwinder Kumar alias Kala son of Darshan Lal of Chawala Kothay (RS Pura),” a police spokesman said.
He said during thorough questioning the accused confessed their involvement in the theft case and on their disclosure, 1 Splender Plus bearing registration number JK02CD-4480, 1 Passion Pro bearing registration number JK02BE-0181, 1 Passion Pro bearing Chassis number MBLHA10EWBGB09038, 1 Discover 125 cc bearing Chassis number MD2A15BZ50PC63135, 1 Passion Plus bearing Chassis number MBLHA01AL9HM03592, 1 Super Splender baring Chassis number MBLJW094K9E23653, 1 motorcycle FZ bearing registration number JK02BT-9004, 1 Super Splender bearing Chassis number MBLJAW097K9D01666, 1 Passion Pro bearing registration number JK02BA-9461, 1 Splender Plus bearing Chassis number MBLHAR084HHBH1047, 1 Passion Pro bearing registration number JK02BH-3858, 1 Passion Pro bearing engine number HA10ECC9A00991 and 1 Scooty Activa bearing registration number JK02AT-8180, were recovered.
Further investigation of the case was going on, the spokesman said, adding, the overall operation was done under the supervision of SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
