JAMMU, Oct 15: Jammu Police today seized 13 vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the district.
“While one tractor trolley without registration number was seized by Police Station Domana, one tractor bearing registration number JK02CW-0769 was seized by Police Post Belicharana, two tractor trolleys without registration numbers by Police Post Pounichak, one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02CN-2025 by Police Post Phallain Mandal and one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02AU-9647 by Police Post Chinore,” a police spokesman said.
He further informed that six vehicles including four dumpers bearing registration numbers JK14C-4875, JK02DA-0344, JK08F-6834, JK02CT-8868 and two tractor-trolleys bearing chassis numbers EZ1948442S3 and MBNGAANUUMJL01908, were seized by Police Post Chatha. One vehicle bearing chassis number MAT804301 M8A01277 was also seized by Police Post Greater Kailash.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, he added.
